My Photographic Philosophy
I am of the opinion that anything is fair in digital photography. I strive to make the image appear as I want it to appear and don't feel any allegiance to the original scene. Sometimes, I think the best image is achieved by very little manipulation. At other times I have a completely different outcome in mind and may preserve only elements of the composition and little else. While some feel most of the creativity occurs prior to the shutter release, I disagree. My interest is in capturing an image in a manner that maintains its full potential and then, through post production, drawing from that potential the specific image I want.

Photography, for me, is also about family, friends, and travel. I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I have enjoyed the whole process of creating them.
